Here at Tiny Box Company we are really excited to announce that we are one of the finalists in the Waste Reduction Initiative category at the National Recycling Awards 2018.

The 2018 MRW National Recycling Awards brings over 500 waste management and recycling professionals together to both celebrate and recognise best practice and recycling and waste management innovation. The awards are given across 20 different categories covering recycling initiatives, recycled products and the way in which waste is processed.

We are really proud to be shortlisted for this award as we are a company who are very dedicated to protecting the environment. Since the birth of Tiny Box Company, in 2007, we have put in place various green initiatives including sourcing sustainable products, donating ‘seconds’ boxes to local schools and charities, and encouraging staff to bring in any delivery boxes that they have received at home to be recycled and used at work to send out customer orders in.

With the growth of Tiny Box Company as a business we have become more and more aware of the impact that we as a team have on the environment and we strongly believe it is important to keep this to an absolute minimum in any way possible. We are always on the lookout for new initiatives and ideas that will make us an even more sustainable company.

Having been a winner before in the National Recycling Awards in 2010, it is great to be recognised for our efforts once again. Our MD Rachel Watkyn said, “Reducing impact and waste is not only an objective but it is a way of life for us here at Tiny Box, it is fantastic to have this recognised and be a finalist at the National Recycling Awards again”.

The awards ceremony is on the 28thJune 2018, so wish us luck!
