First up, what are foil and digital printing?

Good question - here are some definitions:

Foil printing is quite simply the process of applying foil to a box using heat and pressure, resulting in really pretty, luxury single colour designs. At Tiny Box Company, our hot foil printing is available with a gloss, metallic, foil, satin, or matte finish.

Digital printing, on the other hand, is the process of printing a digital-based image onto your bag using UV ink. This basically means you can print full colour logos, designs, and even photos onto your gift and shopping bags!

Printed gift and carrier bags

Both foil and digital printing are great choices for personalising/branding your gift or carrier bags, giving them a luxury feel and elevating your packaging game. Choose from sizes ranging from small to extra large, with colours from simple black, white, and kraft to lilac, radiant red, and forest green.

You might also be wondering - do foil and digital printing affect the recyclability of these products? You’ll be pleased to hear they don’t - if the product was recyclable before it was printed, it will also be recyclable after (our gift bags are all home compostable - just take out the rope handles!).

What can I use printed gift and shopping bags for?

Gift wrapping - use foil or digital printing to make your gift bags personal to your pal, or the event or season. Printed birthday and Christmas gift bags, for example, can be used again year after year (that’s what I do!) - just add a bit of tissue paper and it’s a perfect gift packaging solution!

Favour packaging - events like weddings and baby showers are very personal, so reflect this in your gift bags with personal printed messages. These can be a thank you from the bride and groom and the date of your wedding, your new baby’s name and birthday, or whatever else suits the special occasion!

Retail carrier bags - up your retail packaging game with printed shopping bags - pretty much every store has these now, right? Making them luxury gift bags will make your store even more memorable when customers head home, with sturdy and durable card and rope handles to keep your products safe and sound.
